Penn State Cult (Joe Knew)

This Pedo St hire is unfolding much like the RR hire at scUM. Every decision being made by those in charge of that program is a step towards disaster, and everyone except the Pedsters can see it unfolding clear as day. The only difference is that Pedo St also has the biggest scandal in the history of college hanging over it.

Except that DickRod actually had a reasonable track record as a HC. Eric O'Bannon's track record is getting into a [censored]ing match with his HoF QB on national television and being replaced by his predecessor during the playoffs.

This one was particularly great:

It's called over signing. But it's apparently OK when Meyer does it. Because he dumped two players off the team for no reason, other than they were non-contributors.

There is so much fucking fail I started to go through it but the task quickly snow-balled to the point that I didn't even want to try.

Key points of logical fail:

1. Players do things arguably far worse than Tat-Five group and get kicked off the team.

2. Tat-Five makes Ohio State the cheatingest cheaters in the history of the world.

3. Players that do things worse than Tat-Five get kicked off team for doing nothing wrong other than being non-contributors (one excelled in the Sugar Bowl against a prolific passing offense, the other was a red-shirt freshman).

Is there some condition that combines pathological lying with being a moron?

If not, we should invent it. Pedstatiopath?

That fanbase may be stocked with some of the least knowledgeable fans on the entire internet. I know that scout freeboards are generally littered with the lowest common denominator of each fanbase, but those mutants are in a class by themselves. The coaching search threads were filled with crazy on an epic scale. In true cult fashion, every "outsider", no matter how civil, is immediately dismissed as a troll. There has never been a more diserving fanbase of the misery ahead of them.

If Ubet were here, I'm pretty sure he'd say "Jim Tressel" to himself and then type a wall of words about something else.

I immediately regret getting fired up over those clowns. That is the first time I actually delved into one of those threads.

It takes a special kind of mental state to deal with it without your head exploding.
There should be a warning page that pops up before you navigate to their forums, something along the line of:

"Through me you pass into the city of woe:
Through me you pass into eternal pain:
Through me among the people lost for aye.
Justice the founder of my fabric moved:
To rear me was the task of Power divine,
Supremest Wisdom, and primeval Love.
Before me things create were none, save things
Eternal, and eternal I endure.
Abandon all hope, ye who enter here.

Do you want to proceed? Yes/No"

So, Bobby O'Barnum has a 6-year old boy -

His wife has got to have no fucking idea who Jerry Sandusky is or what this "scandal" ruckus is about.

Only in Happy Valley do arrests and crimnal charges amount to "no reason".

These people really have no idea when it's time to cut ties with a bad apple, clearly. Any hint of impropriety is simply an opportunity to make the offenders appear to pick up a little trash in the name of "success with honor" while the true believers become more entrenched in their cult of personality circle jerk.

Does he realize that if ANYTHING goes wrong with the offense, he will be to blame? Guilty or not, the fans have spoken. I suppose they think they are victims in this situation as well? :shake:

That's why he tried to keep JayPa around as a useful magnet for criticism when Urban Meyer's defense broke off a plunger in their ass. Unfortunately for him, Penn State Uberbooster Hitler saw through his scheme and made him get rid of the tard.

I don't know about you guys, but I just don't see O'Banion's freshman initiation rituals being an attractive alternative to Meyer's program.
