Penn State Cult (Joe Knew)

A grand jury has charged former Penn State President Graham Spanier with participating in a "conspiracy of silence" to cover up child sex abuse by former football coach Jerry Sandusky

.../snip/...

Kelly said a grand jury issued a subpoena in December 2010 but relevant emails and other evidence were not turned over until April 2012, after the three men had left their jobs.

Schultz kept a file about the 1998 and 2001 incidents involving Sandusky at his campus office and told staff members never to look in the file, Kelly said.

It was removed from the office on the day charges against Sandusky were announced and delivered to Schultz's home.

The file's existence, along with other information relevant to the grand jury investigation, was not disclosed until after Spanier was fired and trustees ordered full cooperation with the probe, she said.

I think I get it now. According to the mensa posters over at BWI, there was absolutely no way JoePed could have stopped Sandusky even though he was his boss. They needed to get the state politicians involved to have Sandusky stopped. Nope, the BOT can't do anything, nor the coach, or the AD. Yes, let's call the governor to stop Sandusky from sexually assaulting more boys. Uh huh....

So, the cult has been resonating this line since basically Joe's firing:

"We are because you were!"

They have for years told us that Joe PA built that program (and some say the school) with his own bare hands.

That is why I found it interesting to find this as a cultist's signature line on BWI:

"One man didn't build this program and one man sure as hell cannot tear it down."

Hyporcacy flows freely in Slappy Valley these days.

Spanier said in an interview in August that "coach" referred to Jerry Dunn, who was PSU's Men's Basketball Coach at the time.

Dunn was having losing seasons, caught lightning in a bottle, and ended up winning some games, and getting into the Sweet 16 in the NCAA. That was enough for him to ask for, and PSU to eventually offer, a new contract.

That was what I seem to recall Spanier saying about the email that stated "coach is anxious".
This is the first time I've heard this "defense". My response to him would be "Really? That's what you're going with?". I mean.....I could kind of buy "coach" being Sandusky. Sandusky would be anxious to find out what was going to happen to him. Why the fuck would the basketball coach being anxious about a new contract make it's way into that email?

Regardless of Paterno and his innocence/guilt......this now justifies the NCAA with the Lack of Institutional Control, the NCAA win vacations and sanctions levied against the university. Only thing that hasn't been justified is the show cause against Paterno.

That is a complete fabrication from the pedsters mind. They are STILL trying to wish/rationalize all of this away. The string of emails clearly are relating to the Sandusky shower situation. Remember, many of those fucksticks refuse to read anything other than what other posters on BWI say, then they take the BWI bullshit as FACTS and EVIDENTS rather than what really is going on. Their departure from reality is pretty facinating, actually.

That, combined with the complete lack of administrative oversight under which JoePa was allowed to function for years, is more than enough to kill that program off right now.

I wish I had a dollar for every time one of them posted about how Joe did his legal duty to pass it up the chain blah blah blah. It's like they've all gotten a script of what to say in certain situations.

That's what Franco wrote on the back of the cardboard cutout, so there's a reason why you keep hearing it.....

Penn State has basketball? What a ludicrous assertion.
