I thought it was obvious the University wasn't selling those shirts. The point is, you know some of the idiots are buying them.

When those shirts first came out they had a thread talking about who was going to buy one.

I am still waiting for the one that reads"

THIS is interesting.

The Penn State Board of Trustees will hold a special meeting via conference call at 5 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 12. The sole purpose of the special meeting is for the trustees to consider ratification of the binding consent decree imposed by the NCAA and accepted by the University.

Ratification: a principal's approval of an act of its agent where the agent lacked authority to legally bind the principal

If they do anything but approve the sanctions they will have to make room for a fourth ring in this circus. What would make such an act particularly interesting is that they have sat for weeks watching players transfer without saying yeah or nay. Anything but ratification signifies the utmost failure by the BOT. All fingers of ridicule will point to Happy Valley like the hand of a compass points North.

I wanna see Emmert's face if the BoT refuses to ratify.....

Hackenberg is as good as gone. He just hasn't made it official yet. Any QB with that offer list, looking to play with that talent for four years isn't going to chose to stay. I'd bet he ends up at 'Bama.

Will be interesting to see if Brennaman has the fortitude to stick it out surrounded by ** and low *** recruits...and no "QB of the future".

The only rational reason for such a meeting is to cut the legs out from under the RoBOT. But a vote means accountability. Gonna be interesting.

In any case it indicates to me that the BOT wasn't sure how the University is supposed to run either.

Right. Since Joe died, no one's been at the wheel and the entire University is lost.

These people are fucking crazy. Now, if any of the BOT votes to ratify, then, according the nutjobs, one of three things is in play:

1. They have a skeleton in their closet that they don't want found with additional investigation.

2. They are not putting the university's best interest first.

3. They are incredibly stupid.

And later in the thread, they start making shit up again:

Didn't Emmert tell Erickson he could not inform the entire BOT before signing or else they would get the death penalty? I think that was in Van Natta's story

I am in awe of the amount of herpderpiness on display in the pedster community.
