I'll with hold judgement on the ribbons until I hear at least one major child abuse prevention agency say thank you for all of our effort on their behalf.

NCAA: National Communists Against Athletes

Is there a third one?
I wonder if they understand at all that culture of relevance to the NCAA is the one that exists among those contracted with Penn State - coaches, staff, administrators, and board. That's the group whose actions lead to sanctions. Player actions only lead to sanctions indirectly; what matters to the NCAA is whether school reps knew, would have known if they had followed proper compliance policies, and what they did upon discovering the problem. Same applies to Sandusky; his crimes are not in NCAA's purview, but the school response to them most certainly was.Evidence doesn't support many of the Freeh findings, the players' letter says, including "the determination that at Penn State the 'football program was held in higher esteem than the values of the institution, the values of the NCAA, the values of higher education, and most disturbingly the values of human decency.'"
"By these unsupported findings, the (a)ppellants have been forever branded as somehow contributing to a 'culture' on campus that enabled these unlawful acts against children to continue," the players' filing says. "Meaning no disrespect to the victims of abuse, these findings are unfair and they are wrong."
It's almost amusing how on the one hand you have a subset of BOT members complaining to the NCAA because they disagree with their group, and on the other hand a subset of players complaining to the NCAA because they disagree for their group. The former players say in their letter to the NCAA that they're acting on behalf of all players and coaches who were part of the football program between 1998 and 2011 — the years the NCAA vacated the Nittany Lions' wins.

and has ZERO track record of being a stud at developing college players for the NFL.....and really what did he really do in the NFL? he inherited Tom Brady and an explosive offense, he did not develop it.
try telling these guys that though
I think Ohio State may be to blame for at least one of those being on a Penn State list...Bucknut24;2191238; said:Not sure if it was posted in here yet...but former PSU players are appealing the NCAA to vacate wins
