Penn State Cult (Joe Knew)

I could see a challenge to the Freeh Report angering the NCAA to the point they wait for the FBI report(which could be very similar) and shut down Penn State football. It's a very dangerous game the so called PSFRS group are playing. And it will just encourage bad behavior by the student body.
This could get very interesting!

I always wondered if the legality of the Freeh Report would be challenged. It was done at the request of the BOT and not legal authorities, so that would seem a flaw for the NCAA to use to rule sanctions. I assume that the NCAA looked at that weakness before ruling? I'm sure that the Penn Staters For Responsible Stewardship Group (lawyers)are thinking just that.
Thoughts?

What does legality have to do with any of this? PSU can have anyone they please create any report they please and do whatever they please with the results (provided of course no other real "laws" are broken in the process).

The NCAA in turn can do pretty much the same. There are no real "laws" governing the NCAA any more than they govern the Rotary Club. The NCAA is a club and the schools are its member. NCAA bylaws are not "laws" the way folks on BWI would have you believe. They are simply club rules.

Any grounds for legal action would have to originate in some sort of harm done to the party taking action.

And yes, I did stay at a Holiday Inn last night. Why do you ask?
