Just sayin': Giving credit where credit is due, Ped State is definitely doing better in 2021 than they did in 2020. But their fan base is still the worst in all of college football.

Their game with the Hawkeyes is a pickem. Even though it’s at Iowa, I like PSU in this one. I think both teams finish at least 5 spots lower than they are right now, but I think Iowa is the bigger fraud. If it were in happy valley, it might’ve been a beat down

Iowa dude: "Lots of people whine about calls that go against their team. It's a tired argument."

Other people: "Hey - Iowa gets favorable referee calls against Penn State, too."
Another Iowa dude: "Yeah, we hate Ohio State and Michigan, too! We get boned by the referees, too! Can we be friends?"

There's more stuff in there.

But I love the "We're just lucky to be playing" garbage. They can't agree which referee said it or to whom, but it's a fact that it was said.
As for the video evidence of something happening, there's also video evidence of their leader shitting his pants. But THAT was photo-shopped.

Iowa wins but they don't cover. I'm thinking something like 6-4.

The thing about Sandusky is that his actions and the reactons of those involved never had any relationship to football. When they start talking Sandusky they've got no valid point to make about PSU football.

I disagree. Sandusky was using the football team to lure kids to hang out with him. "Hey, come to the game and stand on the sidelines with me. Maybe afterwards we can go hang out." "Hey, come on this road trip, we're going to the Citrus Bowl. Maybe afterwards, we can go work on some football fundamentals."
And Saint Joe let him do it all.

Joe and the administration knew

They swept it under the rug and looked the other way, thus enabling him

That they did not get the death penalty is disgusting

That their already-too-light penalty was later reduced is among the worst miscarriages of justice that I’ve ever heard of

I have cousins who are Penn State fans

My only interaction with them from now until I die will comprise in whole the dance that I do on their graves when they die. Not sorry that I’m not sorry.

Iowa wins by the rare 1 point safety. PSU hasn't impressed me whatsoever on the offensive side of the ball and that does not bode well for them in Iowa City.

I have since rethought my position on this one. Iowa is, overall, the bigger fraud. But it seems that PSU's complete lack of a credible running game plays right into their hands. I think it will be close, but I don't think Clifford-Dotson are enough on their own against Iowa.
