Penn State Cult (Joe Knew)

That's all it boils down to. The only argument in favor of not letting Ohio State go is RuLeS aRe RuLeS. As if a poorly thought out 3 month old rule should take precedence over common sense.

The not so polite truth for the people whining is simply this; if the B1G was really "soulless/corrupt/cowardly" etc and really wanted to guarantee OSU would win the championship this year they would have simply not made any COVID no show rules.

Rule#1: Everybody has to show up and play OSU regardless of who OSU or that team has healthy. Good luck
Rule#2: see rule #1
/end rules

"You're starting QB has COVID?" Fuck you. Play them
"Pussy hurts?" Fuck You. Play them.
"Team sucks and coach is retarded?" Fuck You. Play them.

Woot. Jackpot.

So.. OP says that if a recruit is good enough, he should go to a select few schools. I guess he's saying that those schools have a better chance to put players in the NFL. (I'm not arguing with him.) As usual, the conversation falls into "OSU pays their players!!!"
Someone goes against the grain:
I always hear this from the board regarding booster payments, etc. Could we see the evidence re: Ohio State? If anyone has it, fine. Otherwise, it sounds more like sour grapes.
Don't worry. The voice of the people speaks up:
Posters like you kill me. You really think OSU is even close to clean?

Your statement amounts to "You can't prove it scientifically so that means God did it". Put your head back under the sand (or your ass, wherever you have it) and leave the rest of us alone.
"Just because I don't have proof, doesn't mean it isn't true." I think his analogy is actually backward. I think the one guy said, "You can't prove it scientifically, so I'm not sure it actually happened." The second guy is trying to say, "I can't prove it scientifically, but since life isn't working for me, I blame cheating."

The rest of the thread brings up a lot of examples that shows that BWI is very selective for when they trust what the media says.

It's the way of the world today. Just look at the political divisions in our country

Edit: and then a few posts down, 1 psu idiot accuses the delusional of watching CNN and then another idiot says the delusional must support Trump.

Elite coaches like this do not come available often.

Don't get caught in the trap of "records", they can be inflated playing bad OOC teams, or even downgraded a bit because of not fault of a team'S own but by just having to play (LSU, Alabama, Texas AM, in the west) and at least a cross over game again UGA or UF each year. Coaching in the SEC West is no joke. Franklin would be lost in that division.
Ohhhh please pay Franklin's massive buy out and bring the gus bus north. He even mentions the only reason gus's record looks OK, the absolutely terrible ooc schedules they play (also the sec actually mostly sucks ass).

If I had a burner account, I'd bring up that the majority of Paterno's 409 wins came pre-Big Ten, when he could schedule Pitt, Rutgers, Syracuse, Temple, and East Carolina. Are those inflated by playing "bad" OOC teams?
