Penn State Cult (Joe Knew)

Wow. So they really are going to ruin Arts Fest with the timing of this thing. The [censored]ing nerve of those people. :shake:
I want to see a riot on national tv! Cars being overturned and set on fire.
Windows in store fronts broken. Riot police crushing mutant skulls!
That would be sweet! :tongue2:

I wouldn't count on it. For all their lunacy, they're a rather impotent bunch. The night Dear Leader was [Mark May]canned, all they could manage was a news van and a light post. I heard they were working on a second light post, but I'm not sure if it was ever toppled. Not only do ped aggy cultists suck as human beings, but they also suck at rioting.

Happens every single year during Kent State's 'College Fest'...well except for the national TV part.

Damn, so close. Wednesday, July 11, was a "Penn State Day" on BTN (various Penn State events).

If only it could've been July 12.

This whole Freeh Report seems like a big "CYA" for the Board of Trustees. Nothing major will probably come of it, outside of the Board "CYA-ing" and looking like they tried to do the right thing.

Sandusky was also awarded 'emeritus' rank, with special privileges including access to the University's East Area locker room complex. Sandusky's positions in the University did not meet the general eligibility requirements for this honor, yet University administrators found themselves in a 'bind' because Spanier had promised the emeritus rank to Sandusky.

The Special Investigative Counsel found no evidence to indicate that Sandusky's retirement was related to the police investigation of him in 1998.

The incompetence is just stunning

Well regardless of the lunatic fringe at BWI, this report claims to have evidence that shows Paterno and the gang knew in 1998.

If that is 100% confirmed then the rest is just conversation;

  • people still living who were anyway involved(all the way down to the secretaries) need to start joining the tickle monster in prison.
  • PSU football should be hammered for 15+ years of the worst kind of LOIC
  • the name Paterno should be right up there with Sandusky in the soulless, sick fucking monster hall of shame.

Part of me was still actually hoping this wasn't true. Somehow it makes me hurt even worse for those kids knowing that these sick, selfish old bastards knew that long ago and did nothing. All in the name of football. Sickening.

I couldn't care less what those fucktards are saying to try and discredit the Freeh report. These idiots have zero proof to show what is being stated in the report is wrong. The rest of America knows what's going on. If the cult wants to say otherwise...let them. The thing I find most amusing is that they have no clue what is heading their way.

From the deadspin write-up on the report:
Graham Spanier later promised Sandusky emeritus status. A formal request was prepared by Gary Schultz, and submitted to the Provost's office. The Provost's office could not find any "specific precedent" for granting Sandusky the status, Provost Rodney Erickson gave it to him based on Spanier's promise. Erickson told a staff member he hoped "not too many others take that careful notice."
That's current PSU president Rodney Erickson, right?

Don't want to read all of the threads on the Penn State mess and figured this would be the better thread to ask this question. And not sure if someone brought this up yet.

What could the Department of Education or Justice do to Penn State? Could they shut down the Univeristy? Maybe just cut federal funding so severly that the Univeristy would have to scale back? Or just some huge fines and re-organization? Basically what could be done? Or just jail time for those involved?

The way I try to think of this if a high profile professor did this for 10+ years and the University president knew about this but covered it up because he provided millions in research, what would happen?

Why aren't a good amount of investigative reporters turning State College, PA upside down?

That female reporter already won a Pulitzer for her work on the case.

There's a lot of smoke in all directions here, shouldn't they all be flocking there?
