Penn State Cult (Joe Knew)

Bad calls are a part of competition. No matter the sport, no matter the level, bad calls are going to happen. Good teams overcome them and move on. Bad teams take them personally and let them become bigger and more meaningful. I swear, I've never seen a fanbase obsess over a few bad calls (and conveniently forget missed calls that went in their favor) as much as these idiots.

In light of this petition, I would love it if O'neill's crew is assigned the OSU/PedSU game here in a few weeks.......

All true.

John O'Niell and his crew are fucking awful though. You see his infinitely punchable face and just know there is going to be at least one breathtakingly bad/no call in the game you are watching.

And you think to yourself "That motherfucker did that on purpose, just to spite ME. I'm the center of this universe. He's purposefully trying to screw ME over."

And then you create an online petition.

My ref fund check is written and ready to send in a couple weeks...I encourage everyone else to do so as well!

But seriously, they obsess over it because their limited cognitive abilities are unable to change focus onto anything else. They lack the ability to objectively consider that they've received very beneficial officiating prior to joining the B1G, to include JoePed hiring officials directly related to players on the team.

Oh christ....don't get them started. they can give exact dates and weather forecasts for every call that went against them, correctly or not.
And they accurately point out that while PedSt sometimes has far less calls go against them, it’s the TIMING of the calls that always goes against them. They are obviously correct that the 2013 game would have been won by PedSt had it not been for that early call against them. No doubt in my mind...

The 2014 game that they use as their shining example of the B1G being out to get them because of the expired time clock on the FG and the bounced interception where the replay equipment malfunctioned...conveniently forgets all the PI calls that were highly iffy that allowed them to march down the field and tie it up (before Bosa ended the game with a walk off sack). If refs are instructed to keep Penn State down like they all believe, why are they calling bogus PI penalties that allow them to get into FG range at the end of a game that they're losing by 3?

I would have thought that YOU, of all people, would be able to answer that.

I'll try:
Those "bogus" PI calls, as you call them, were so obvious that even the Big Ten referees had to call them. To not call the - I'll call them what they REALLY were - OBVIOUS PI infractions by the $uckeyes would show the entire world that the referees really are cheaters and that the Big Ten really is out to get Penn State. Maybe it's too bad that those calls actually got called. If they HADN'T been called, the rest of the country would see that we're being treated like sh*t and would openly destroy the corrupt Big Ten, and we'd be able to take our rightful place atop the college football world. WE ARE!!!

In that game, Ohio State had 8 penalties for 70 yards, including two bogus roughing the passer penalties in the 4th quarter. The first occurred on a 2nd-and-20 play, the second on 2nd-and-17 play with 40 seconds left in regulation and Penn State at midfield.

Penn State had 4 penalties for 42 yards.

Yeah, Penn State was definitely the team that screwed by the refs in that game.

Yeah but the TIMING is what caused theirs to be so awful. They call those penalties on us when it doesn’t matter.
