I am stating the obvious but this board will be awash with trolls over the next few weeks. The best way to deal with the worst offenders is to report them and not reply. The mods can't be here 24/7, but they eventually take out the trash.

It's because you're such easy targets. The same fanbase that thought they had the best quarterback in the country, the best academics, the best coach, the best-smelling farts, also think "no blood no rape".

I'd say the football to non football threads are 1:5 or lighter

Highly entertaining thread in which the Cult tells each other that the rest of the country doesn't care about the scandal and everyone other than Internet trolls loves them some PSU and Joesus. Inevitably, a Buckeye fan wanders into the thread on page two and gently breaks it to the Cult how their protests of the BoT and never moving on are viewed outside the bubble. The result is a feeding frenzy the likes of which is seldom seen outside the Animal Channel showing crocs attacking a zebra visiting a water hole. Bushwood goes full moron in the thread, but my favorite post is the Joebot lecturing the poor, uninformed Buckeye poster that he simply does not understand the "full scope of the issue."
