1. So he sticks Penn State with such powerhouse teams as UConn, Rutgers, Army, and Temple. Great. Here comes 409 more wins... in 40 years...
2. He thinks Rutgers and Maryland would leave the Big Ten, West Virginia would leave the Big 12, and Pitt, Syracuse, BC, and Notre Dame would leave the ACC. I can see Notre Dame leaving for what they consider "greener pastures", but the others - no. A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush, and I fail to see any proof of any birds in that bush. I don't know that there even IS a bush.

Edit - to be fair, most replies are about how bad of an idea this is.

We should take up a collection to try to bribe their school leadership to do it.

LOL, I did not even know Old Dominion was now in the FBS. Ped State and Notre Dame should love that, as they should meet in the championship every year, in theory.

I could see WVU leaving... their current situation isn't very stable.
Cannot imagine the same schools who voted against PSU joining BE leaving a stable conference for that shitshow.
No way in hell Maryland and Rutgers leave B1G in the next 20 years... esp. Maryland which lost some cash to make the move with reasonable expectations of major windfalls once their "probation" period ends and they get an equal cut of BTN and Bowl revenues.
Notre Dame would never join that shitshow either. Even if you ignore their preference to be a special snowflake... they'd join ACC completely (already member except football) before that hot mess -- and reasonably expect to play in ACC's CCG every year.

1. Old Dominion? That place has a stadium for 20K and can't fill it. aim a bit higher, William and Mary and hope William doesn't show up.

2. Proposed plan would assure PSU and ND to meet in the CCG about 70% of the time.

good thing it's not a serious proposal. Even if it were, 8 of the other 10 teams would say no just to not be associated with the Pedsters. Ntre Ame would probably say no as well, just because it's much easier to say no to such a thing.
