Penn Stafe was completely over hyped coming into this game and our coaches knew it. They were willing to let McCord throw it on early downs but quickly realized it wasn’t his day and they didn’t need him to do that to win. So as soon as we had the lead, we went conservative and put the game into the hands of our defense. If McCord could have hit early throws this would have been a 3-4 touchdown win. It looked ugly because we were playing conservatively. I swear this offense hasn’t even come close to their potential. When they do and we get healthy….LOOK OUT.
