Game Thread Penn State at tOSU, Oct 26, 8 ET, ABC

The posters on Audibles (Scout) seem like sane,rational,level-headed people compared to the whackos on BWI!
Yeah, audibles is full of your run of the mill cultist mutants. BWI is more your "carny hopped up on ether and amyls, tinfoil hat" cultist bordering on parody. I'm convinced half of bwi is undercover trolls.

If the referee wouldn't have missed that one call.. we wouldn't have lost by 50
If the referee would have flagged Guiton for taking off his helmet to pray.. we wouldn't have lost by 50
If Corey Brown (1), Corey Brown (2), Spence and Schutt came here instead.. we wouldn't have lost by 50
If Braxton and Carlos only played that first series.. we wouldn't have lost by 50
Yep.....That's pretty much what they are saying over on BWI. But you forgot about what a jerk Urban is for challenging the first down spot in the second half. THAT one REALLY has the cult upset!

But with the cult mentality, they shouldn't actually have to go the full 10 yards for a first down. The refs should automatically give it to them because THEY ARE!! PED STATE!!

Anyone else wake up with a smile on their face? The enjoyment from watching the game last night has not weakened in any way as I drink my morning coffee. The result of this game couldn't have happened to two more deserving fan bases IMO. Even my wife, who never voluntarily watches sports, came home this morning from working last night(works with Alzheimer patients) and said she watched the first half. Her exact words were "All I saw was Buckeye touchdown after touchdown after touchdown, and they kept hitting that QB". Seriously, isn't that the breakdown you'd like to hear in regards to any Buckeye game?

I'm probably going to have to call a doctor because what I still have from last nights game has gone on for well past 4 hours.

Also, how cool would it be at the next B1G coaching get together if Urban did his best Al Bundy impersonation and said "9 touchdowns in one game" to Ballderdash O'Ballslap?

My early nomination for painful stupidity courtesy Obliviax at BWI. Thread title is Ohio infiltration of fertile Pennsylvania recruiting zones:

Two kids on tOSU's DLine would have been on our side of the field, in all probability, sans JS. Spence and Schutt both played major roles. In fact, Spence was a huge difference maker as he was the tOSU defensive MVP IMHO. Without him, tOSU has some major D-Line issues (and Schutt is fresh having not played in the first four games due to injury). I felt, living in Ohio and watching most of their games, that the D-Line was one of their most vulnerable positions but Spence simply killed us on passing downs.

Watches OSU games, thinks our defensive line was the most vulnerable position.

He was, as far as I can tell, 100% serious.

I'm going to say that this is the confluence of three things which are bound to happen this season at some point and lead up to the fourth.

Our DBs start playing up to their potential
Our DL has the monster game that we've been expecting
Hackensack has the freshman [Mark May]ting of the bed game to which all true freshman qbs are pone.
Urban goes for style points on prime time national tv

49-10
