Penn State 48, Wisconsin 7 (Final)

Thing is, we haven't played up to our potential once this year. Why can't this be the game we put it all together? Fuck you lions with scarves. We aren't Wisconsin, and The 'Shoe ain't Camp Randall. You'll find that out soon enough. Bring it.

Well, I have a few thoughts on the PSU/tOSU game. First off, it's at our house, at night, and the place will be rockin'. Assuming they take care of tsun next weekend, they will be in the top 3 in rankings, they will come in and really, they haven't played a good defense yet. I have no doubt we can stop them from moving the ball effectively, and Pryor has shown that if the game is close, he can make that comeback drive to win the game. I think a few things need to happen, but, I think we can win a close one here and take the wind out of their sails.

The only difference between this game and previous ones in our building is that this one I say we can win...previous ones I just said we will win. Ironically their last and only good chance to beat us at home since joining the Eleventy (and they made a good showing, especially defensively) was 2002, when we didn't lose a single game. I thinm they've proven they're a very good team...making victory all the sweeter. This could be 2005 redux, reverse...17-10, something along those lines, if we control the game like we want.

So you're saying that tOSU being 45-3 at The 'Shoe since '02 doesn't mean shit? I'd say that it at least establishes that we are more likely to win this game than lose it.
i dont believe in trends like that. sure its a great fact. but in 00 we hadnt lost to minnesota in what 30 years? its a cool fact but what happened last year doesnt matter at all, what happened 8 years ago and even in the early 90s is fully irrelevant.

cool fact and interesting though...

PSU has not faced anything like the defense like it will see in the Shoe on Oct. 25.
PSU has. Darryl Clark hasn't.

Here's hoping he continues the long and glorious PSU tradition of throwing Pick-6s to our DBs.

Malcolm Jenkins was Morelli's favorite receiving target for years.

I believe that Ohio Stadium will be rocking harder than it has all season long for the Penn State night game. If fans can't get up for this game, something is wrong. If we beat MSU and Penn State is still undefeated when they arrive here, it should be the loudest stadium in the nation.

All I can say is that this couldn't be happening to a nicer guy than Bret Bielema.

The past 2 wisc games, I think JoePa intentionally ran up the scores on them. He's still bitter about 2006 when Bielema took advantage of a loophole in the new rule to run out the clock on PSU.

This years PSU is what we [censored]ing expected when they joined up. We were supposed to be adding another dominant powerhouse to the B10, and for the most part, we've been let down. I can't wait 'til next week.

I didn't watch football until '97 and since then PSU hasn't done much against the top teams in the conference. But it's not a let down for the conference, PSU has represent the BIG10 well in OOC/bowl games. We always had a good defense but the offense was pedestrian in most years.

I've watched football since '87, and PSU was going to run roughshod over the big ten, according to the media. So far, with the exception of '94, I've been highly disappointed. They were supposed to challenge for the B10 title every year, like tOSU and TSUN. Nittany Fail.
