Penn State 19, Louisiana State 17 (final) Capital One Bowl

I think this slow defensive battle goes in favor of Penn State.

Am I the only one that thinks LSU is the most boring team to watch? Seriously I remember watching Florida play them earlier this year in a game that was majorily hyped and it was boring as can be. LSU has no offense.

Big ten looking good in the bowls so far this year.

Clark has done alright.

Sometimes on challenges, especially ones that aren't eve close, I wish that the ref would be a smart ass and say things like "after further review, it was a fumble that wasn't even close, it was totally apparent that the ball came out in midair, this timeout is being swiped, 1st down!".

"After further review, the previous play is exactly as we thought it was. A timeout will be charged to the moron that thought it would be a good idea to make us spend 5 more minutes on this piece of crap field. 1st Down."

This season is the beginning of the crumbling of Les Miles "empire" in Baton Rouge. Now that he can no longer milk Saban's recruits, he's routinely exposed for what he is...a very mediocre coach. I say he lasts about three more years, though it may be less than that if he pulls of few more debacles like his Ole Miss clock management craziness out of his hat...pun intended.

The two BCSNCs have convinced the locals that a top five team is their birth right (as opposed to some similarly deluded SEC team fans in a sunny state ), and they have a long tradition of being a fair weather fanbase.
