Penn State 19, Louisiana State 17 (final) Capital One Bowl

I've watched most of it. Haven't seen stats but LSU hasn't done much at all on offense. Field is terrible but credit to PSU D too. Neither side has gotten much going in the air.

Uh, PSU has thrown for about 130yds, thats pretty good in this condition...

So...anybody that's watched this game in its entirety, what's the rundown?

Penn State dominating the ball-time?

LSU getting stuffed by a fiesty D?

Penn state looking good here. The horrible cow field has totally taken away any hypothetical speed advantage of the LSU d-line/pass rush. Penn State is probably the better coached team, they have made very few mistakes, and are plenty able to match up physically with LSU.

Holiday is a non-factor in this slop. With the better QB and a game better suited for the conditions, I think Penn State pulls away to win by 21.

Sometimes on challenges, especially ones that aren't eve close, I wish that the ref would be a smart ass and say things like "after further review, it was a fumble that wasn't even close, it was totally apparent that the ball came out in midair, this timeout is being swiped, 1st down!".
