Barkley, love him, just said he's not taking OSU citing the "Big Ten" style of play- OSU can get out and score, so I have to disagree with him if that's his reasoning.

Says we can't impose our will on another team....that it is like watching a B10 football game....love being the best team in the suckiest football and basketball conference in the land....

I actually really like Charles Barkley as a commentator. He's fun to listen to and often quite witty. But he just said he's not picking tOSU to win the NCAA tourny even though they may have the best team in the country, and his rationale was that OSU can't "impose their will" on other teams. Now, I'm not even sure what that means, but I think he means to say OSU can't impose their style of play on other teams, because just before making the comment he was talking about how slow and methodical the game had been. Apparently Chuck didn't see this team absolutely dismantle and run up and down the court on a Wisconsin team that I think is probably better than any other in the country at dictating a slow pace. To say that OSU can't "impose their will" against other teams is to admit you just haven't watched them this season.

And Barkley won't pick us to win it all because of the fact that we don't "impose our will" on the other team.

Fact is, we don't have to. We can play fast, we can play slow, we can play up high, we can play down low. We are as talented and balanced a team as you will find in the country. And that's why we will win the whole damn thing.

Exactly. Not a well researched comment in my opinion. Barkley should stick to the NBA.

Folks, listening to Charles Barkley for analysis is like listening to the Red Hot Chili Peppers for their lyrics.

Judging by his record of NBA commentary, he might be saying the exact opposite thing in two weeks. He's wrong all the time and he changes his mind based on what he sees. I'm more worried about when he's gonna start ripping on Greg Gumbel and Seth Davis than what he thinks of the Buckeyes.
