Penn St +11.5 at Bama (ov/un 44.5) Sat 7 ET ESPN

I was not impressed by State Penn at all. Their defense looked pretty slow against YSU and they have a true frosh making his first road trip to a stadium full of 100,000 drunken hillbillies. That's a recipe for a blowout to me...

I'd be surprised if Penn State stays within 4 touchdowns.

No Ingram it looks like, but I still don't think that will matter for this spread. Penn State played better in the second half last week, but they would have been down by 8 touchdowns at halftime had they been playing Alabama in the first half.

I don't know if Alabama can score 8 touchdowns against State Penn. :)

I think the nits have enough defense to stay in the game, and they always seem to play up to good competition, but I think Bama may pull away in the 4th. But I don't see this as the blowout some people are predicting.
