Down two+ scores and time is now their enemy. They will need back-to-back defensive stops and three scoring drives.

Absolutely friggin' pathetic.

We have a 2nd-and-2 and can't get a first down. They start at the 6 and within 4 plays, they are on the verge of scoring. Again.

The Bungles can't get pressure if they blitz 3 extra guys and the fuckin Pats can get to Palmer blitzing no one.

BK I would have loved to banter and console with you but I turned the TV off.

I have seen this movie before. When the star of the movie is Cory Dillon I cannot stand to watch. I freeken HATE that guy and he is rubbing our noses in it.

I wonder how much the loss of Frostie hurt us becasue this is NOT the same D that I watched in the Pre season. That fucking SUCKED.

Ok, the Bengals played like crap, there were only a few players that didn't play like crap, but hey they are 3-1 going into the bye week, is that so bad? Thankfully we will be getting Dexter Jackson back and Chris Henry will be playing next game against the Bucs, and soon Chris Perry will be back giving us better 3rd down options. I'm sick of everyone calling into the radio stations saying we're doomed, Bengals players stink bla bla bla bullshit. The fact is we had an off-day (like the Patriots did last week and Seattle did with the Bears....yea I know without Alexander they're a different team) and the Bengals will move on and start planning for their next game.

Exactly....I was actually at the game yesterday and it just amazes me how quickly people will turn. Guy behind me would bitch about every little play, and didn't understand from teh first play why the bengals would let the play clock run down every play.......well the truth is thats what you do when you run a no huddle offense.....freaking fair weather fans.

OK, here is what gets me. I am a fan of defense. I love it when a D can take over a game. As much as I like our high powered O, it absolutly KILLS me when we cannot tackle and make plays on the D side of the ball.
Shit, even in the Boomer days we had Fulcher layin the wood and Krumrie in the middle stirring in up.

Honestly, it isn't that I loose faith in the team, I just HATE watching a suck-ass defense like that.

I agree with you there, it's hard for me to judge how well the defense is going to be this year. I mean yea our first two games made many believers that the Bengal's D has improved over previous years, but the last two games it looks like the weaknesses still exist (what are we 26th on run defense now??? :smash: ). I'm thinking Jeanty's return will help out alot (sorry Caleb Miller I want to be a fan but you are creating way too many gaps by over-running plays!) and Dexter Jackson's return should definitely help with the run. Ahmad Brooks (when ready) might be the guy we need to stir things up in the middle (give him a year) and Peko and Rucker will mature and strengthen the line going into next season. As far as our D-backs I wouldn't mind seeing Jospeh take over James later this season, he seems to get slower every year.
