My god, the constant fellating of Brett Favre is disgusting. After the long pass to Jones, "Brett reminds people why the watch Monday Night Football with an astonishing play like that!" Uhhhh......what? He made a nice pass, but good lord, the run after catch was far more impressive. And then a bit after that, they show Antonio Freeman's incredible play on a deflected ball from several years back as a Favre highlight. Hey, fellas, that ball should have been picked off. The fact that the defender didn't catch it and Freeman made a great play doesn't have jack shit to do with Favre.

Don't get me wrong, I don't have a problem in the world with Brett. He seems like a great guy and is a helluve QB, but dammit if these asses in the booth are to busy slobbering over him to notice that there is an actual football game going on.

Also, I really, REALLY wanted Favre to throw a pick (ideally for a touchdown) with his wife in the booth. That would be reality television I might be able to stomach.

God, listening to those dopes reminds why I go to bed early on Mondays. Just terrible.

Yep, it's pretty much unwatchable now. I can only handle it if I'm flipping to it for a minute or two. I haven't watched a full MNF game since it moved to espn. Awful.
