I've noticed that he has been punting "traditionally" this year. Maybe I hadn't noticed it last year but i remember all of his punts being his Aussie rules style. It also seems that he is far less effective when punting traditionally. Anyone know why the change? I'm guessing maybe it's so he'll have a shot in the league?

If I had to guess, I'd say it is just a situational thing. When it's a chip shot, he uses a more traditional style. When he's trying to boom it/give the coverage time to get down the field he uses the Aussie/take a few steps style. He's barely had to punt this year; he's had to boom it from deep in our own territory Aussie style even less.

Ray Guy finalists were chosen two weeks ago on Nov 25. Johnston was not among them.

I think they need to re-vote, because what Johnston did Saturday night was ridiculous. If the offense and defense weren't overwhelming enough, Urbz brought in the punter to demoralize them even further.

He will never win the award... He doesn't punt enough due to our offense.

Whenever he punts though he's been money. I don't care what any stupid ass award says. He is the best punter in the nation, especially at getting his punts to stick inside the 10

Scott Harding from Hawaii does what Cameron did Saturday all the time...the guy just had his first touchback of the season in Hawaii's final game of the season and he's got something like 60+ punts due to Hawaii's offense sucking so badly. I think he had by far the most kicks inside the 20, 5, and 2 in the country. He's also from Australia and kicks rugby style...
