Any reason why Cameron as of late seems to be taking more steps before punting?

It's as if he is getting nearly every punt blocked.

There have been a couple times I thought he should just have kept running.

Agreed...if we win special teams we will win the game...definitely the area of most concern.

Really happy with Cam. He is the punter the Vest never had, and is jealous of UFM because of it.

I'm still not 100 percent sold Urban actually called it and he might be taking the heat for Cam because he is the best damn coach in the country.

I think if he would have tried his Aussie punt where he takes about 2-3 steps towards his right, the punt might have been blocked because ttun was loaded up on the right side of our formation. In either event, Urban said that he needed something to jumpstart the team and it was all on him. In addition to what AuTx Buckeye says in the above post.

Are you going to blame Braxton for getting tackled after Heuerman whiffed a block on the MSU defender on 4th and 1 in 2013 B1G CCG? Or Urban for that matter? Whiffed block is to blame for the failing to make the fake punt, not Cam. I love Sam Hubbard as much as the next guy, but if he had maintained his block, Cam would've made the 1st down.

On a different note, isn't Cam a senior? Who is going to be punting next year?
