Facilitating a life change,

I Left the Financial Business after nearly 10 years and wanted to find a new way to provide for my family.

Joined the Army and working the physician assistant program. Signed on for a 4 year active duty hitch and 4 years in reserves. I'm leaving for basic training on Monday.

Enjoy the rest of the season for me!!! Doubt they have time off in basic for college football Saturdays.

I suspect about as well as the hippie look did in the 1970s. I felt absolute horror as I watched every guy get scalped. Then, I thought I found the most enlightened guy of them all:

Barber: You wanna keep that hair on your shoulders?
Me: You can do that?
Barber: Yep. Modern Army. That what you want?
Me: Damn straight!

Then he proceeded to take a #1 cut right from my forehead straight back.

Me: What the hell was that?
Barber: Drill sergeant! You got some more of that tape? We got another one of your girlies here who wants to wear her hair on her shoulders!

I had to wear it taped to my shoulders for three days. :slappy:
