Our 2012 bowl game - at Hawaii?? (Not as 13th game, per NCAA sanctions)

When Hawaii has a decent team, they play B1G teams tough at Aloha Stadium. Just ask Iowa, Minnesota, Michigan State, Northwestern, and Purdue.

In all honesty here, Iowa and Michigan State are the only ones who fit in that statement of yours. I believe the other clubs that went out there were .500 or below .500 clubs when they went out.

More impotantly does that mean no spring game or are they just applying the exceptions to after the regular season? And if so does that exclude Hawaii by season as scheduled or what? That ruling seems so messy. Wonder if OSU will ask clarification on that point.

See post #32 in this thread. The Spring game is OK.

There is nothing to stop tOSU players from scrimmaging against PSU players over winter break.

Call it the little33, call it the B33G, call it the is-not-a-bowl (snotBowl), or call it the toilet bowl. Mano a mano, no TV, no coaches.

As AFL is to the NFL, tOSU/PSU could be "the ACAA" threatening the entrenched NCAA.

Both teams forfeit the win. Call it the "No Bowl", very noble.

Nothing to stop a thee way tournament with SoCAL.

USC is bowl eligible this year and I am against collaborating with Penn State on anything.

Penn State has the opportunity to play Hawaii during any of their four seasons with a banned post-season. While our sanctions forbid abusing this rule, Penn State's did not mention it.

I believe this has been covered elsewhere but I doubt the NCAA would let that fly.
