PARIS JOHNSON
- He says he's had several other players both at Ohio State and other colleges about starting foundations, which Johnson has done.
- While in high school, Johnson attended a Special Olympics event for disabled veterans and heard many stories from them which inspired him. Read the full story from our own Zack Carpenter here.
- He says his foundation is giving away 71 turkeys today and will hold a toy drive before Christmas.
- Johnson says this team has become a family to him. "It's a good experience because we're never alone because we're always with each other every day."
- He says he gets excited about making mistakes and seeing success when he addresses them. Says he has gotten so much better since arriving.
- Johnson says he doesn't know when the Name, Image and Likeness reform will arrive, but he only sees positives with it. He says he's excited about using it with his foundation, beyond just monetary gain.

Ohio State captain Josh Myers stopped himself for just a moment.
He wanted to carefully measure the words he was about to use about Buckeyes freshman Paris Johnson very carefully.
Then the Rimington Trophy finalist and starting center proceeded, full-speed ahead with what he was thinking. In doing so, he cut the breaks on the hype train that has been kept under wraps all season and is also now barreling down the tracks.
“Paris is an extremely talented football player and offensive lineman,” Myers said during Thursday’s Media Day availability. “He has the right skill set. He has what God has given him, and God has given him a lot. And he also has the mindset.
“I don’t know if I should say this or not because it’s pretty early on in Paris’ career — but in my personal opinion, if Paris isn’t an Outland Trophy winner before he leaves here then he’s screwed something up, because he should be by the time he leaves. In my opinion, he’s that talented.”

No. 9 Paris Johnson, OT, Ohio State
Johnson played sparingly during his true freshman season, drawing just 26 total snaps. His longest run of snaps actually came against Clemson in the Sugar Bowl, and Johnson played well when placed at right guard, drawing a 70.5 PFF College grade. Johnson is a long-term tackle, and it’ll be interesting to see where he fits on next year’s Buckeye line with both Thayer Munford and Nicholas Petit-Frere coming back. There's a good chance he plays guard so the Buckeyes get their five best linemen on the field.

PJ is an absolute specimen... kid's potential is absolutely through the roof. Can't wait to see him on the field this season.

Here's an article that he wrote about Thayer Munford, I had posted it in Munford's thread, but didn't notice that Johnson had written it:
INSIDER LOOK: ON AND OFF FIELD PROMISES PULL THAYER MUNFORD JR. BACK FOR FIFTH YEAR
Despite an impressive senior season that elevated his NFL draft stock, Thayer Munford Jr. had a promise to keep — one that required him to stay in Columbus for another year.
The veteran left tackle announced Jan. 16 his decision to forgo the 2021 NFL draft and return to Ohio State for a fifth year. Munford said the motivation behind the decision was to graduate with his degree and prove he is the best offensive tackle in America.
“I made a promise to my mom I would not leave college without my degree, and I wanted to keep my word to my mother,” Munford said.
Munford said earning his degree will impact his life and his family, as he studies human development family services.
His mother, MeLisa Thompson, said Munford would be the first in his immediate family to graduate college.
“It would be overwhelming for me,” Thompson said. “That’s really a big deal and I’ve always told him that it would be wonderful for you to get your degree in college.”
