I didn't quite get that from the quote. Who knows what the kid really meant, but clearly program success is three out of three in his assessment (coaches and players first, distance second). But I thought his comment about recent success was that he was favoring programs with longstanding records of success, e.g. tOSU vs, Pitt. OTOH it has been stated earlier that he would commit to Pitt, if offered.

Andy has changed his tOSU visit to 12/16 so he can have an entire weekend. He seems to be very impressed with the Buckeyes.

I kind of like that. I think if they could bring him and Ballard in then one could stay at TE and one could move to T. Then have an extra blocking TE on the outside.

I also liked the fact he was not worried about upsetting the home crowd, if he was to leave the state.

People don't bleed college football over here like they do in Ohio, especially with Pitt. Trust me, there aren't too many people in the home crowd to upset.

Man that is a true statement, Pitt area fans in general could care less if they lose a recruit because they have no idea who they are for the most part. No pressure to stay at home at all for Miller.

Well if that is the case I think we really stand a good chance.

JT created a new position in The Game this year- the Tackle End (Andre Tyree). Miller seems like a perfect canidate to be the next one, in my mind

Exactally and he will be able to catch balls and be a threat that way, unlike Tyree who was just in there to block.

Andy enjoyed his official visit to West Virginia, but he wants to take the remainder of his visits before deciding; he has already visited Indiana (12/2), and will visit Ohio State next weekend (12/16), and Pitt after the holidays (1/6/06); Penn State (not offered) might also be in the running.

Similar to the Rivals article. tOSU is recruiting Andy as a TE while most other programs like him as an OL.

Miller came away impressed by his visit to tOSU. He will visit Pitt on Jan 6 and then sit down and make a decision. He says everything is equal.
