ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- Rich Rodriguez does not expect to coach wide receivers Mario Manningham and Adrian Arrington or quarterback Ryan Mallett at Michigan Wolverines.
Manningham and Arrington will skip their senior seasons and Mallett will transfer, according to Rodriguez.
"Those are the indications I've gotten," Rodriguez told The Associated Press on Tuesday night. "I've talked to all three at various times recently. I talked to Adrian today, and he told me he's leaning toward going pro.
"We wish all of them the best."
When told what Rodriguez said, Jim Mallett insisted his son has not made a decision.
"Coach knows more than I do, I guess," Jim Mallett told the AP.
Rodriguez later told reporters Manningham and Mallett did not attend a team meeting Monday.
Can someone please explain to me why in the hell Terrelle Pryor would care what Mallet does? Please. The last time I looked Mallet was not suited to run a West Virginia type offense. He's just not. That means TP is already better suited for that O and Mallet's still at Michigan - I would think, Pryor, a smart kid would already realize that as well. Rich Rod has no loyalty to Mallet. RR will play Freshman at QB. So... please, for the love of God, someone explain to me why in the hell what Mallet does regarding staying or transferring makes one damn bit of difference.EidoloN;1060656; said:not of pryor sees that position opening.....!
Haven't you seen his thread? Who'd want to dwell in that shadow.Buckeyeskickbuttocks;1060674; said:Can someone please explain to me why in the hell Terrelle Pryor would care what Mallet does? Please. Thanks.
Oh, and my prediction for 2008: 13-0
I reserve the right to change it considerably by late August.
