There are people on other sights saying that Hawaii should have gotten a chance. OK? I have read that HI has no weakness. Well besides passing what is their strength. OSU and LSU would win by at least 15. I also don't like how when June Jones was promoting Brennan he said that Tebow was a system QB. Well what the hell is Brennan, I hope the kid succeeds, but I just don't see it happening. Remember Timmy Chang. For our sake I hope Ga beats HI soundly. If not, you will here those silly it should have been HI discussions. Don't get me wrong Ga is good, but if people think beating Ga or Mich. this year would give you a chance at OSU or LSU then their crazy.

If Hawaii had a tough schedule, or played someone good I would agree. But they had the easiest schedule in college football, is it just me or should it have been expected for them to do this. Had they won big every week or w/e, They should have been but San Jose St had them on the ropes?

Let's see how they do against Georgia before saying anything, the SoS sucks, but everytime I think they are done they come back. I know Boise State last year really made me question my thoughts on Strength of schedule. There's no obligations to send any team outside of the 6 BCS conferences to the NCG, but I can understand why their coach would feel he has a say, especially when the teams playing for the NC have 1 and 2 losses*

Hawaii has no real defense and no running attack since Nate Ilaoa left. Their offensive line is inconsistent, and Brennan is fairly easily rattled. During the Washington game in which Hawaii quickly feel behind 21-0 in the first quarter Hawaii coaches commented on how surprised they were at Washington's speed and athleticism. If they was that surprised, at home, about Washington's "speed and athleticism", they'd shit all over themselves when they saw Ohio State's or LSU's, especially at a neutral venue. They are goig to be stunned when they see how fast and athletic Georigia is...

I don't necessarily believe just because a team goes undefeated, they should be in the national championship game. The people that say Hawaii should be in the NCG just want to hear their voices heard. La Tech could have beaten them for goodness sakes. They played absolutely no one. I understand Boise last year, but did they almost lose to teams like La Tech?

I agree that Hawaii would likely lose in a national championship game. But what would they have to do to be "deserving" (in your eyes) of being in the national championship game? Short of switching from their conference to one of the big conferences, that is.

If being the only undefeated team in the country doesn't get them into the national championship game, then how do they get in?

beat La Tech by more than one. in ot. would have lost if La Tech converted their two point conversion. I think I remember that right.

Everyone tries to make a big deal about ya'll having a weak schedule, but y'all did dominate y'alls opponents most the time at least.

Yea soundly beating everyone (or almost everyone) on their schedule would help. Also, scheduling tougher Non-Confrence opponents would help. If two years ago when Hawai'i played USC had they beat SC, gone undefeated for the rest of the season (while winning most games convincingly), and there were not two undefeated teams from the Big Six then I say give them a chance...but thats about the only way I could see that happening.
