Did anyone else notice those people walking around in the background in that last song? They're claim to fame... walking around like hoodlums around burning cars at the Oscars...

Should Julia Roberts have won an Oscar, for chrissake, for "Erin Brockovich"?
Should Denzel have won an Oscar for "Training Day"?
And beat out Russel Crowe in "A Beautiful Mind"?
My 2 biggest gripes that make Oscar night a joke.

A Beautiful Mind was horrible (as was Erin Brokovich). I liked Cinderella Man better. But Paul Giamatti was much better then Russell Crowe!

Russell Crowe winning for Gladiator was a bigger joke. He didn't act - he just grunted. His work in The Insider was clearly better.

Russell Crowe is the best actor of the past decade! I'm convinced. Should have more Oscars.

Giamatti should have won an Oscar for American Splendor... he's very underrated IMHO.

of course... he should have won for his role of pig-vomit in Private Parts too :p
