Athens, Ga., is called the Classic City, named after the goddess Pallas Athene of Greek mythology. And if the Georgia coaching staff has its way, another Greek deity of sorts could eventually call Athens home. Last week the Bulldogs informed Orlando "Zeus" Brown Jr. (Duluth, Ga./Peachtree Ridge) that he has an offer to play offensive tackle for Georgia.
"I got the offer from Coach [Bryan] McClendon," Brown said. "He spoke to my coach and told him that they wanted me to come up and take a visit. I guess Demarre Kitt (Tyrone, Ga./Sandy Creek) and Nick Glass (Atlanta/St. Pius X) put in a good word for me. I was pretty excited about it."
Glass and Kitt have already committed to Georgia, and they have been working on the talented 2014 lineman.
