First I have to put a stop payment on that check. I told those damn refs I wanted a block in the back penalty on any punt returns.

Easier to sway the replay guys - it's a smaller crew. :wink2:

pac10 now more interesting; as season proceeds, Cal may play major role. How in the world did Cal lose to Ark. a zillion to much less?

You mean Tennessee, not Arkansas, right?

It's has to be tough to come off the west coast to win a game in Neyland Stadium.

Cal lost to Tennessee by 17. USC killed Arkansas.

And, I agree with methomps...everything was going against USC and they were getting destroyed, but they played like champs to the bitter end. That was a great game...but I think USC loses again this year. They just aren't what they used to be, with a so-so running game, a quarterback who needs development, and mediocre defense.

They weren't that scary as a championship opponent, anyway. In fact, Michigan is the only team that presents a stout challenge to the Bucks this year. We win the Game, and I figure we're a 14 point favorite in the NC game no matter who the opponent.

And what does being a 14 point favorite in a NC game mean...absolutely nothing. I think there are a lot of really good SEC teams out there that would give the Buckeyes a very tough test...everyone knew USC wasn't a championship team this year.

Fine, if we go up against Tennessee or Florida in the NC, then you can take the SEC team and the points and start counting your money. From what I have seen of those "tough" SEC teams, I would take the Bucks and give the points...that's all I meant. Don't see a tighter game in the NC than I see in Columbus on November 18 at all.

And while USC isn't that much of a contender anymore, they had the most control of their destiny to get there.

I have watched Auburn, Tenn., Florida, LSU, and I don't see much at all. Pretty down year SEC wise. Weird thing is WVU and Louisville may be the best out there, other then scUM that is.
