Well, they just marched down the field and took the lead.

PSU versus Oregon State would suck. It also would mean we have no shot at a BCS bid. :(

I think it might be better for us to not get matched up against a top-tier SEC or Big 12 team, though, honestly. I want to get to a BCS bowl, don't get me wrong. :tongue2:

True, but it's not like USC doesn't have a history of losing to pac-10 teams they shouldn't... Only have to go back to '06 for that UCLA game that ruined their BCS national championship hopes, so they could certainly lose to UCLA to ruin any BCS bowl hopes.

Karl Dorrell's UCLA beat them two years ago, you never know. Unlikely? Yes, but never say never.

Now, N_tre _ame...NO CHANCE.

One could argue they already had that bad loss against oOSU... though as far as the Pac10 goes Oregon State is at the top. After further thought I'll give UCLA a very slim chance since that is a rivalry game but I don't see the Bruins giving USC much of a game.

IF Oregon State wins out you know the Rose Bowl committee won't be too happy about their rematch with Penn State.

2006 really is the ideal year for this example: They lost to oOSU and a UCLA that they REALLY should not have lost to in a million years.So yes, they can lose to two pac-10 teams that they really shouldn't.

Now, do I think they will? Probably not. But they could.

I think we are arguing the semantics of "could" and are on the same page... I'm just a little closer to the "not happening" than you are. If Arizona comes back tonight (putting together a nice drive right now) or Oregon beats oOSU next week this discussion doesn't matter.
