Oregon St +20.5 at USC (ov/un 49.5)

I didn't have the audio up so I'm not sure what the call was, but I watched a USC pass bounce off a receiver and get caught on the rebound by an Oregon St player, but possession stayed with USC...wtf?

You are correct. SOS doesn't mean a lot in the current BCS format anyway (the polls are 2/3 of it) and in our case the only BCS route left is winning the Big Ten.

I think Oregon State is better than Notre Dame, and ND played USC close.

The unfortunate truth is we should've defeated USC. They are not nearly as good as they were a year ago. :(

Well, what the BCS formula works on is opponent wins and losses, so it is important for our BCS standing. But, it doesn't make much difference.

The BCS formula is dominated by the polls now. If the polls agree there is nothing that will trump them. The only time computers/SOS come into play is if the two polls have different rankings.
