Roby is faster and after they see his physical talent and ability at the combine he will play on Sundays. Shazier will play on Sundays.
Execution and technique is all mostly coaching. What they are we doing not turning to find the ball? What the hell is that? If you can't cover man to man, it isn't necessarily talent. Our O-line appeared to be untalented for years under Bollman too until they reached the NFL and many became ALL Pro. We never seemed to be able to block anyone, yet we had talented linemen. It was all scheme and technique, which is not talent but coaching.
Yea that's my point. And I truly have no idea if he can get there next year, but if he puts in the work he at least has a shot.Where the hell is he going? He's a 4th round pick at best and that's as a WR or KR. The kid can't play QB right now. Look at his completions tonight. He hit some tight windows to be sure, but there were also WIDE open receivers that were so wide open they had to come to a stop to catch the ball. He doesn't "throw guys open". He's not a QB yet. I don't know if he'll ever be one but he sure as hell isn't one now.
By "many" All Pro offensive lineman, I assume you mean Nick Mangold? :p
IIRC this is the first game OSU ever lost when scoring 35+. I believe I saw that stat a few games ago.I know we keep coming back to the defense as the problem but for those questioning the offensive play calling here is something to think about. If your offense scores 35 points then in most situations you should be able to win the game.
Braxton should probably just leave now because another year is only going to further expose him as a guy who simply cannot read defenses fast enough to meet his full potential.
He's got a hell of a pro future if he's willing to pull a Randall Cobb, though.
