Orange Bowl: Clemson -3.5 vs West Va (ov/un 60.5) Wed 8 ET, ESPN

WV will not run the Big 12. If they play the way they did tonight...maybe. But I wasn't impressed by them losing to Syracuse(again) Louisville, barely beating USF and LSU I won't even mention. Sure they played a great game tonight but I won't base their season on 1 game. They return Smith, Austin, and Bailey as well as their RB but I just don't see them running the tables. I lived close to WV (unfortunately) having to hear the "over rated" comments about tOSU for years took away any respect I had for WV fans.

Overrated is better than under-achieving.

I was blown away by the WVU defense and their ability to contain the Clemson speed (save for one big run by Ellington). They employed a 3-5-3 which I haven't seen much of recently. Seems to be a decent way to stop the big plays from occurring.

Holy balls...just saw the score.

Didn't watch any of the game, no interest at all- what the heck happened?

Dabo Swinney opened things up by saying that at the end of the game he wanted people to be talking about the Clemson defense.

He got his wish.

I have to say that I'm not too surprised that WV dropped 70 on Clemson. Their defense has been horrible all season.

Virginia Tech scored 13 points - combined - in 2 meetings, then put 20 up on TSUN and it could've been much more.

Too bad WVU didn't play TSUN. That could've been epic.

Postgame interview of Mackey Award winning Clemson TE Dwayne Allen, with him using an unfortunate choice of words.

Being at Clemson, he has "more money and more resources" than he's ever had.

Wonder if the NCAA will be pulling bank records for him soon.
With what authority?

The NCAA has been handed evidence for the vast majority of past scandals. OSU, USC, UNC, Miami, etc. In many cases, the third party changed things after the NCAA concluded their investigation with minor or non-existent penalties.
