Voted OK, but shouldn't be used in The Game. The uniforms themselves aren't a big deal to me as a one shot deal, but for OSU/U-M I want to see the silver helmets completely covered in Buckeye Leaves.

I'd have been happier seeing the throwbacks in the Navy or Toledo games.

It would be one thing if it had been a real throwback with as much historical accuracy as possible (no loose sleeves to grab) and a real tribute to something specific and important, but this was entirely driven by marketing. They didn't even really try to make it a meaningful gesture of some sort. Blech. I want the team to look like the team, especially for the biggest game of the year. Nothing more than a distraction the way it was handled.

Because you're a woman, you have every right to take issue with the fashion aspect of the uniforms.

Only because you're a woman. :)

It was the fan's who made this a distraction, not Nike or the university.
Yes, because the fans chose to radically change the uniform in someone else stadium for The Game. The fans chose the laughable lie that this was done as anything other than an advertisement for Nike.

Their goal was to sell gear, Nike Pro Combat technology and alternate jerseys. They caused the uproar, and profited handsomely from those that loved it.
Btw, I loved the uniforms.
They weren't bad, but they were an ill-timed stunt built around a poor-constructed farce.
