Man. If you have never done it - then you need to go sometime.....

My son 5 (who is actually sitting down to watch games with me!!!) and I went to watch Louisville then the Buckeyes. We spent $10 total- popcorn, pop, and Reeses- and watched 2 hours of shoot arounds. It was pretty awesome.

We sat 4th row middle. Louisville came out and put on a show. Some of their players are monsters, even a couple of their guards. Reminded me some of UNLV in 1990 with LJ. Pitino was more or less socializing while the players were going through basic shooting for the first half and then for the second half, they starting shooting half court shots and having a mini slam dunk contest. Definitely loose and having fun. After the shoot around a handful signed autographs for a bit.

For the Bucks, we sat directly underneath one basket on a box where i assume a camera will be tomorrow. Could almost reach out and touch the players. Sitting here really put into perspective how massive DL and BJM are- wow! OSU came out and was more down to business. Looked somewhat loose, but Matta was definitely involved and even came out in shorts and his brace. After the shoot around many Buckeyes hung out and signed autographs. DL was really playing with a group of 7-10 yr old boys that sat near us, making them repeatedly call his name for him to come back. Its was funny. He and Titus came down for a long time.
Several others including Hill were on the otherside signing for many people. Later on we were able to catch 5 others including Evan Turner. All I can say is that these guys were a class act! Very polite and well spoken and made my son sooo excited.

Again- if you've never been, I would definitely recommend it!

I second this. Our basketball team is full of some good guys. I've talked to all of them at one point or another (most of them multiple times in a non-basketball setting) and have nothing but good things to say about all of them.
