I didn't look at Dryden's picks before I made mine. We picked the same 6 guys for the best player and for the best running back.
I am surprised we picked the same six RBs. I expected Calhoun and Wolfe to miss a lot of ballots.

I had Eslinger at #1 on the OL too for awhile, until I decided I couldn't, in good conscience, leave him there when I don't truly believe he's even the best C in the Big-10, let alone the best OL player in the nation.

I was surprised at how difficult it was to narrow down a list for six DLs and six DBs. Any of 15 people could appear here and I don't think I'd argue -- surprising you and I both tagged Blue and Huff in the Top-2 though, followed by Williams and Zemaitis.

Finally, I concluded either Buckeye Planet members don't know one player for Big-12 teams (exluding Texas and Colorado's kickers and punters), or else there weren't that many good skill position players in the Big-12 this year. :sneaky:
And with all of the coach-of-the-year choices, I'm amazed that we had the same guys in the top-5.
Excellent choice on Patterson. I went around-and-around juggling Patterson, Spurrier, Miles, Price, Dorrell and Shula in-and-out of my list, and ultimately I had to leave a bunch of them off.
