Really surprised to see how flat our guys seemed to come out for the sudden death overtime. I really thought momentum would be with us after the way regulation ended. Great effort from our guys, though. They really exceeded expectations in the tournament, and the future for US hockey looks very bright. Clearly the two best teams in the world were on the ice today.

Curious about osucollegebuck's thoughts on Crosby beating God for the game winner. :wink:

Heck of a game, heck of a run. Still a great tourney for USA. I didn't really expect them to medal. They'll be a force in the Olympics for a while. They're so young.

Agreed, I thought they looked flat/tired. The Parise/Langenbrunner line played a ton.. they had to be worn out. I didn't mention Stastny with that line because he was invisible.
