OL Thayer Munford (1st Team All B1G, 1st Team All-American, Las Vegas Raiders)

Despite starting at left tackle for the previous three seasons and earning first-team All-Big Ten honors at that position in 2020, Munford willingly moved inside because he and Ohio State felt that would be best for the team.

“He made one of the biggest sacrifices for our team this year,” Ohio State offensive coordinator Kevin Wilson said.

Just sayin': Yeah, Munford took one for the team this season moving to guard. However, showing the versatility to play multiple OL positions may help him in the NFL draft.

Four years starting on the Buckeye offensive line, four Big Ten Championship Game victories, three College Football Playoff games, a national championship berth and three wins over Michigan – just to name a few of his most notable experiences in scarlet and gray.

But his final game in a Buckeye uniform, last weekend’s Rose Bowl win over Utah, might just be his favorite of them all.

“Y’all have known me for five years now, this is up there. I feel like this is the No. 1 memory that I’m gonna tell my kids later on,” Munford said following the Buckeyes’ 48-45 win against the Utes. “Not giving up, just keep going, it’s just amazing how far we came. It’s just the word of God, that’s all it is.”

OK, now kill it at the Combine, and take it further at tOSU work-out at the Shoe, and garner a 1st round slot in the NFL draft. Make some big money, and play 10-15 years at LT in the league. Popcorn compared to playing for the Buckeyes. You can do it.....Go Bucks!
