Well, if you want to talk to two billion people, Mandarin is what it takes. Cantonese is cool, but is limited to people in Hong Kong, Guangdong, and some Chinatowns in US.
I'm aware (was a languages dept head for five years in a high school, taught Spanish for fifteen). Very impressed with Mr. Jordan's major nonetheless.

Since he's from Canton, Michigan...

I had a roommate who took Japanese at Ohio State. It's actually easier than Spanish or French because the expectations are so much lower regarding how much you actually know of the language... or at least that's what they said.

Sounds like Michael Jordan has been really impressive and is really fighting for the open spot at Guard here in the spring...

Like Elflein (and potentially Jamarco Jones) before him, being the first guy off the bench is certainly a good sign for the future.

If Jordan actually wins a spot this year that would seemingly be not such a great sign for the present, at the very least not in the development of Knox, Burrell and others.
