OL Michael Jordan (Official Thread)

A bit questionable but I guess they just assume the Ohio State center is the best

Was he even First or Second team B1G?
Jordan was second team for both coaches and media.

The same thing happened with Nick Mangold in 2005 - he was second team All Big Ten, but was named first team All American by at least one selector.

Michael Jordan continues to collect postseason accolades as the Buckeye center picked up first-team All-American honors from CBS Sports on Tuesday afternoon.

This marks the third-straight season that Ohio State converted a veteran guard into an All-American center as Jordan joins Billy Price last year and Pat Elflein the year before.

This is Jordan's second first-team All-American honor and third overall as he was named to Sports Illustrated's first team and the Associated Press' third team earlier this week.

If he does come back, I think the OL could be pretty damn good. Not sure on depth, but Munford-Jordan-Myers-Davis-petit_frere with Bowen being someone who can spell players at either RG or RT? That's pretty damn good. Looking at the depth chart though...am a little concerned about depth behind those 6. Alabi has shown enough where be can fill in if needed, but no other guy has emerged. Maybe a Wray or Matt Jones develop into someone who can add depth inside. Just not that you'd want a true freshman, but possibly Miller as well.

You have to figure our best 5 will play. Which means Jordan, Frere, Davis, Bowen, Munford.

Left out Alabi and Meyer. Not to mention some of our redshirt kids. We will be fine on the OL but have to get after recruiting hard in 2020.

OL and DB are big time priorities.
