OL Marcus Hall (The Bird Man of Ann Arbor)

Probably in the minority here, but I LOVED that he flipped off the crowd. We all complained that the rivalry had seemed to have lost its edge heading into todays game.

I don't condone the fighting, but flipping off the crowd is something legendary. Just like the Boston fight, dancing on the middle of _ichigan's field after a win, or tearing down the "Go Blue" banner (1973).

Desmond Howard gave OSU the finger when he struck the Heisman pose, Marcus Hall had the balls to flip off the team and the entire state of _ichigan.

This is OSU vs Michigan, this is the best damn rivalry. There is no secret love, just pure hate.

I'm not a fan of his actions. If the roles were reversed, lets say Lewan or any other player, we would be all up in arms about it and talking about how "dirty" they are.

I hate that people are saying "he came off the bench" like he wasn't supposed to be on the field at all. The offense was going out there like they were supposed to. The skirmish took place not because guys were coming off the bench, but because guys who were already on the field didn't head to theirs like they were supposed to. Marcus Hall belonged out there - he just shouldn't have been throwing his weight around.

You feel the same about Braxton? I suggest you re-watch before casting stones at a kid.
Braxton didn't get ejected, nor did he give double fingers to the stadium on the way to the locker room.

I don't need to re-watch anything before "casting stones" at Hall. He screwed up, we all do, and he needs to be held accountable for his actions. Making excuses for bad behavior has become popular, but not with me. Hopefully, he'll learn from this experience, but there's no chance of that happening if we tell him he's a victim.

Your handle is "Scarlet In My Veins" yet you DONT like a Buckeye player flipping off a _ichigan crowd? WTF?

This is a hatred rivalry, not patty cake. Im sure you must take offense to all the other stuff in years past if two middle fingers offend you?

I was addressing the ejection, because without one you don't get the other Jake.

I'm not making any excuses bud, Braxton grabbed a guy by the facemask and tossed him.. But Marcus is some selfish punk because he did the same thing, maybe less?

C'mon dude. Get real.

I am sure his teamates were thrilled, Hall had just left them one starting guard short. They had to carry his ass for the next 3 quarters

The entire incident was instigated by scUM, prolly w/Hoke's approval. The day Buckeyes rip at players facemasks (like Lewan against sparty and Wilson today), we'll be on their level.
Wilson shouldnt have retaliated but his mistake is quite different than the thugs playing for Hoke

If LLLewan did that, I would say he's a punk. But that's because he's a punk ass vulvarene punk. Marcus Hall isn't a punk, so I don't feel the same way. See how easy that is.

Intellectual consistency has no place in sports.

Hall flipped off the crowd because he was throwing a tantrum. There's nothing to be proud about, letting TSUN get under your skin, and causing you to lose control. Hall didn't hurt anyone but his own team with his behavior, all the while TSUN laughed at him. If you take a perverse sense of pride in those actions, I can't help you.

Does that mean I "hate" Hall? Of course not. I'm just not into making excuses for poor decisions, especially from a Buckeye. Hall needs to learn from this episode and channel his energies in a way that helps his team. That didn't happen today.
