OL Marcus Hall (The Bird Man of Ann Arbor)

Hey, Tim!
Tim Warsinskey, January 16, 2009

Q: Hey, Tim: What?s going on with Glenville football player Marcus Hall? Is Ohio State going to keep the Glenville connection going? ? Kort Gatterdam, Dublin

A: Hey, Kort: Hall, one of the top-rated linemen in the country, always has impressed me as a smart, level-headed kid, and I suspect he?ll make up his own mind independent of the many OSU influences in the Tarblooder family. He has said from the beginning he?ll make his visits before making a decision. So far, Hall (6-5, 290) has visited Ohio State and Michigan. He is scheduled to visit Miami (Fla.) on Jan. 23 and Tennessee on Jan. 30. He has canceled a planned visit to Illinois. Hall told me this week he?s not leaning in any particular direction and expects to make a decision ?between Jan. 23 and signing day [Feb. 4].?

BN $ - Hall Likely To Visit Miami Then Make Official Decision Soon After

1/22

By GH...says he is not real big on Michigan and is looking forward to his Miami (FL) visit...the Tennessee visit is scheduled but he is not sure if he will make it...says the decision will likely come down to OSU and Miami. Talks about how hard OSU has continue to recruit him and how they don't take Glenville players for granted after Cordale Scott.

Would love to hear Beaver's response to this...
