If you buy a ticket to a game then I’m pretty sure you technically qualify as a booster.

Here's what is was and (maybe) still is:

You are receiving this Booster Guide because you are a “booster” under NCAA rules. A representative of athletic interests or a “booster” is defined as anyone who has made a financial contribution to the Ohio State Athletics Department, including a season ticket holder and/or an individual who has travelled as a guest of the Athletics Department to a home or away contest. Since Ohio State and its student athletes can be held responsible for your actions and since you could be disassociated from the institution and lose your athletic tickets, we want to make sure you know the rules.

Pretty amazing fall for Kirk...
  • Grad Assist assistant under Tress & Urban
  • Earned his MBA
  • Arrested for drunk & disorderly
  • Involved in the scoop
  • fired and sued for embezzlement
  • Now selling used cars
Does that pretty much cover it?

MBA from a top 30 program, and he's selling used cars. Me thinks that maybe he got that spot in the MBA program solely because he had played on the foosball team.

I new a guy in Atlanta in the 90's who sold cars for a living with a Stanford MBA.

It was the only job that paid him enough right out of school to cover his student loan debt.

Or he didn't do well enough that any of the countless Wall Street banks and Silicon Valley VC firms that trip over themselves to recruit Stanford MBA's were interested in him. I think the story might go a little deeper than paying off two years of grad school loans.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not putting the modern American MBA degree on any kind of pedestal. In fact, I think it's become one of the most destructive and toxic influences on American culture and economy over the last fifty years. So, if more of them are forced into making an honest living selling F150s or Jettas, all the better.

True. He could have been the worst Stanford MBA in history but it's always just stuck with me.

Poor bastard

In case anyone was looking for more evidence that Barton is not an intelligent or tactful person, here he is cheering for Harry Miller going on national TV to talk about his lifelong struggle with mental health and suicidal ideation like it’s a sporting event.

I have nothing to say, just wanted to bold this again because it's worth re-stating.
