OL Josh Myers (2nd Team All American, Green Bay Packers)

Michael Munoz?

Remember that one well.

Munoz and Ludwig VanHall were the two in state can't miss studs that year. Missed on both and took plan B guys Alex Stepanovich and Shane Olivea (grabbed Will Smith while in NY for Olivea too).

Plan B guys ended up being light years better than the two 5 stars. Crootin is funny like that.

As far as "the next Pace" stuff goes, while slightly annoying to hear and extremely unfair to kids, it is going to happen (the next Pace level OL) at some point.

I look at the "once in a generation" type talents and I see them every 20 years or so.

Jim Marshall in the 50's, John Hicks in the 70's, Pace in the 90's......we're due for another. It's science.

The irony is.. when he did that immense one armed dead lift.. he used his left arm

When you're doing a bench with that much weight / esp all time high... it's a shock how heavy that SOB is.. so you can lose your concentration for a split second and it can throw you off and make one arm lag

Pfft

435, that's only like bench pressing a snowmobile or a small bear.
