#THROWBACKTHURSDAY: JAMARCO JONES AS A YOUTHFUL RING BEARER

To Urica, however, Jamarco will always be her sweet baby boy, and she has shared some amazing pictures of him as a youth over the years. She did so again Thursday, taking us back to Jamarco's days as a professional ring bearer.

I'll bet the players really love it, when their mothers post pictures like that....

I don't know about others, but a cup added about .3 to my 40 time...

For sure.

Take a poll of athletes who you think should be wearing... many don't. Hell, I've watched lacrosse goalies not wearing in practice and have to crawl off the field. Stupid. Mind you, not anyone on my fields. Won't let s kid take that chance... but when they get older, regardless of sport... I guess it becomes their decision.

As far as FB goes, I get skilled position players who don't. Totally... don't understand linemen who don't wear tho. That job is just nasty and just asking for trouble.

I was under the impression that the injury happened despite protection. Not for not having it.

Haven't seen confirmation that he was wearing. He very well could have been. Just going off the assumption that he wasn't because a) he got nutted and b) the number of players I know who don't wear unless forced... and to my knowledge, they aren't forced anymore at that level.
