OL Jacoby Boren (2x Academic All-B1G, Academic All-American)

I swear you can hear him yell "fuck these pussies" as he's being walked off the field with the trainers. You see him going to turn around and address the offensive line and you can hear him say something
You could tell Boren was frustrating the Bama LBs with his tenacious to the whistle blocking, especially DePriest, who threw some cheap shots after the whistle including the one that knocked Boren over the pile and injured him.

Can anyone offer a second opinion on what Boren said?

52 college football centers named to Rimington Trophy watch list

If your college football team has a center, there is a decent chance he has been named to the Rimington Trophy watch list, released Tuesday morning. Of the 128 teams in FBS and roughly 41 percent of those teams are represented on the Rimington Trophy watch list. Fortunately, this is reduced from the 64 names that appeared on the 2014 watch list.

2015 Rimington Trophy Watch List

OHIO STATE'S THREE MOST UNDERRATED PLAYERS RETURNING IN 2015

JACOBY BOREN

It took The Slobs awhile to get going last year, but once they did, they were beasts. A lot of the notoriety and credit for Ohio State’s offensive line play goes to Taylor Decker and Pat Elflein—both of whom received All-B1G honors from both the coaches and the media. Darryl Baldwin received honorable mention all-conference accolades from both the coaches and media.

But it was Boren who made the line calls for Ohio State and served as the fulcrum for the Buckeye front five. Playing at an undersized 6-foot-2 and 285 pounds, the Buckeye center was frequently overmatched in terms of size by whoever lined up across from him. Yet Boren not only held his own, but he often made his block and then found someone else to clean up afterwards.

I mean, seriously, go back and look at the video from some of the tactical breakdowns posted by Ross Fulton and Mike Young and watch how involved Boren was in the success of the offense. In a season in which Ohio State’s line was called for only two holding penalties all season, neither was on Boren.

The central Slob created running lanes and protected his quarterbacks equally well throughout 2014, and his emotional leadership was huge in the Sugar Bowl against Alabama. The Pickerington Central product’s senior season will be a bittersweet one, as it will leave Ohio State’s roster without a Boren when the year is done.

He might be "undersized" but he is a grown ass man. The injury he suffered in the Bama game I thought for sure would at a minimum sideline him for the Oregon game after it had time to swell. He barely missed a play and that was nasty. He had to have had a pretty decent sprain that most guys would have not been able to recover from so quickly. Either the trainers did a fantastic job, or Jacoby is just a bad ass, or most likely some of both, but I was absolutely stunned he played against Oregon and played great.

If They Have a Heisman for Yelling, Jacoby Boren Will Be in New York in December.

Boren.jpg

was linebackers and offensive line day today for the media covering Ohio State football. One of the participants was, of course, offensive lineman Jacoby Boren. Boren had uttered just a few words when it became apparent he was having a hard time talking.
Boren’s difficulty communicating wasn’t because of shyness or that he was intimidated by talking to reporters. His difficulty was that his voice was literally shot.

“I'm kind of hoarse. I've been yelling too much,” Boren explained.

Yelling yourself hoarse just three days into camp has to be some sort of record. We’re talking about 72 hours here, but there was no doubt that Boren was hoarse, and to be honest, he seemed to be proud of it.

“I've been yelling a lot. It usually happens during camp,” Boren explained.

“I yell at anything. It's what you have to do during camp to have a little fun.

“Other O-Line guys are doing a little bit better than me right now, I'm just yelling in general.”

Maybe they used some of that miracle spray they use in FIFA games. That shit does wonders!
