I was over at the ND board and they are saying Weiss is calling everyone - even recruits solidly commited to other schools. They are talking about making a push for OSU commit 'Aaron' Boone and how good a fit he would be at ND. We could be in real trouble.

Damn, I knew we were screwed when Weiss took that job. I hope doesnt call Bill Schoenhoft or James ONeal, we will really be screwed then...

what 10 years since we had two all american tackles on the same line at the same time

I believe you're right. He seems like the prototypical tackle. Reminds a lot of Tony Boselli, and that ain't a bad thing.

The scary part to me is how lean he is. He looks to have minimal body fat. Put him in the weight room for a season [no, I am in no way suggesting a RS] and this guy will be a monster. He could easily add another 30-40 lbs to that frame, maybe more.

Its too bad Sims is a senior this year, the left side of the line in 06 could have been unreal for running behind..... I guess Mitchum will just have to step in beside him.
