Yet one would think that a playbook would expand with a Senior "under" center.

Watching the first two games it appears Paris is a receiver only and not a Marshall orSamuel or Harvin. Without a running threat at H the offense becomes even less potent. There's so much confusion and so many possible root causes that I 100% believe this needs to be tore down and rebuilt.
We can always keep some components of this offense but this needs to be blown up i believe. There's just so many possible issues that it's hard to know where to start and I'm getting tires of them taking plays away that use to work out completely because "teams know how to defend it".
For example, the touch pass use to be a guaranteed staple and it use to get us 5+ everytime but one team had success stopping it so now we don't use it at all. WHY? That was the perfect play to get JT a few easy completions and into ryhtm early.
If used properly ANY play will work and it's amazing how we have eliminated motioning players on the Jet. That kept backside defenders honest, set up the touch pass, set up the pick plays and gave the defense something else to worry about
Right after the game I thought of how hard it had to be for a recruit to watch backups on the sideline as JT is failing drive after drive. It doesn't seem like a place top talent wants to go if they will never pull a guy with seniority. We can say that after the game because we know JT did not come back and win the game. Today I was thinking of how much worse it would look if a coach pulled a 5th year QB that broke records at tOSU and was a top Heisman candidate at one point, but the backup did not win the game. Truly a lose-lose scenario.1. First, let me say that the outcome of the game itself should have very little impact on recruiting. Recruits don't look at the games the same way as fans do, because recruits are not fans (or, at least, they are not only fans). Choosing a college is a business decision for recruits, and the smart ones are not going to let the result of any given game sway their decisions. Now with that being said, what happens after the loss could affect recruits. For example, how do the players and coaches react to the loss? Are they fighting, pointing fingers, throwing each other under the bus? On the other end of the spectrum, are too nonchalant about the loss, or are they only concerned with their personal stats, indicating that they aren't really concerned about the success of the team? A recruit can learn a lot more about a team after a tough loss against a top-5 opponent than a blow-out win over a directional school.

They're not lacking for ball carriers. The rbs need a lot more touches before we ever see McCall and Parris is pretty good with the football.Which begs the question of why no McCall....dude is electric with the ball in hia hands
